First Day of Homeschooling

So, I'm thinking I should post this on here now before I forget about it and it gets lost in my files forever. I took these of my kids this past September for the first day of homeschooling 2014/2015. Two other families wanted to have a back to school party too, so we met at Wheeler farm for a picnic, play date, and back to school pictures. I almost posted these on facebook right after, but for some reason it just didn't feel right.

It was an extremely hot, and quite humid day I must say. But the kids had an absolute blast! I found myself repeatedly saying, "See, if you were in regular school right now we couldn't do this stuff!" haha. I know, pretty sneaky. But they all chimed in with a "Yeah!" and went back to their very important business of play-till-we-drop for the rest of the afternoon. I'm so grateful for my chance to be with them every day, even the bad days. I GET to do this. Life is good :)
