This summer was a blur of activity. It started out with a big trip back east (of which I lost ALL my photos, so upset) and ended in a trip to the Pacific Northwest. I'll upload those photos tomorrow, but first I wanted to save these memories on here. It was a summer full of pool days (so many, every week), field trips, berry picking (raspberry and strawberry) waterfall visits, lazy afternoons at the park, picnics, painting faces with drywall to make ourselves look like lions (Jane & Claire of course) and just enjoying as much unstructured time as we could. Next week we fully begin school (tried many times, but all of the trips kept getting us out of our rhythm) and our days will be a bit more centered around home. I think we are all ready, I CERTAINLY AM, for cool autumn weather. Bring on the sweaters, crunchy leaved walks, crock pot meals, apple spice and pumpkin everything!
